As much as I love the new computer lab configurations.....I have been frustrated as we tried to find a way to do demonstrations for lessons.....
Well, after mulling over the idea of projectors in the ceiling (way too expensive and a long time coming)
We hit on the idea of purchasing big screen TV's for each lab.
They were a third the cost....
They are portable.....
They will never need a bulb replaced....
The resolution is amazing!!!!
In the "Middle" Lab the TV is connected to the computer in the photo and sits at an angle.
I have had a large group of 5th grade students effectively see a demo on this screen. The space in the center of the floor is plenty big for a whole class.
In the back lab, you will find this TV on the rolling stand. It can be adjusted to display to either a group on the floor or students sitting at their stools. The screen is connected to the computer station in the photo.
I think these new pieces of equipment will be very useful in the labs.!
